I’m a freelance science and environmental writer and photographer, with a special interest in aquatic ecosystems and the critters that inhabit them. I live in Ithaca, NY, although I hail from the Connecticut shoreline. I have a Master of Environmental Science degree from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, and I recently assisted writer Richard Conniff on the research, fact-checking, and footnoting for a book about the history of the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, House of Lost Worlds: Dinosaurs, Dynasties, and the Story of Life on Earth. You can find links to some of my writing on my (you guessed it) Writing page.
